Because of whose I am.

Let me tell you a little about myself.
I was born in San Fernando, California.  My parents were Harley Edward Rowlett and Doris Maydean Rowlett. That was in the good old days-- December 31, 1950. My grandparents were Sandley and Lillian Rowlett and John and Etta McCombs. I am the oldest of five kids.  I have four brothers: Micheal Edward Rowlett, Ronald Thomas Rowlett, Donald Ray Rowlett, Robert Allen Rowlett. As a child we lived all over the state of California. I now live in Fort Worth, Texas.
In 1977 we moved from Sacramento to Tulsa, Oklahoma.  I had applied to Oral Roberts University.  We found a church of our faith soon after we moved to Tulsa-- a Foursquare Gospel church called Faith Center.  The pastor was   Danny J. Borrell.  We lived in Tulsa for ten years and moved to Texas in 1987.  Once here, we were unable to find a church to attend.  At this time my nephews had found a church-- Sandy Lane Baptist-- and were attending, every Sunday asking prayer for me that I would get back in church.  I had been out of church for three years.  In 1989 the Lord sent Bro. Rollins and Bro. Hughes to my door.  As we talked, they asked my name and I told them.  I'll never forget the look on their faces.  They said,  “You’re not the Aunt Marilyn whose nephews Donald and Paul have been asking prayer for!”  Wow! God knew where I was and had sent these wonderful men to get me back in church. On October 17, 1993, at 10:55 A.M. I asked the Lord to save me. This is why I am who I am today. I worshiped and served the Lord at Sandy Lane Baptist Church where Dr. Bill Beck was my pastor, until last year, 2005. I attended New Beginnings Baptist church for a short time where Dr. Martin Wilkins was  pastor. I now attend Westworth Village Baptist Temple where Dr. Bob Mayberry is my pastor. Gods plan for me is on going, it's now 2018 and I have attended Calvary baptist church where most of my friends now attend from Sandy Lane Baptist, Pastor Shannon Eaton is the pastor was there almost two years, praying and asking the Lord to show me where he wanted me, I need some where where I could server Him. I would come home to Park Meadows apt and sat in the hall way and listen to the church service that was going on in the dining room each sunday Olivet Missionary Baptist Church, in 2015 I found where the Lord wented me. Olivet Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Reginald Moss I now server the Lord there at this time.

I hope, as time goes by, you will meet my church family and friends and all those who I hold dear to my heart and come to know the One that has made me who I am today, my best friend the, Lord Jesus Christ, and His love for you.
God Bless you! Marilyn.

The Psalms have alway been a comfort to me here's one I love.

 Psalms 91: 1-16

1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Because He lives we can face tomorrow. When all hope is gone and all is dark and it looks like there's no way out turst in God He will be your light.

God Loves You!

The Bible says, "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life"

The problem is that

2. All of us have done, said or thought things that are wrong. This is called sin, and our sins have separated us from God.

The Bible says “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” God is perfect and holy, and our sins separate us from God forever. The Bible says “The wages of sin is death.”

The good news is that, about 2,000 years ago,

3. God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins.

Jesus is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life and then died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. “God demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.”

Jesus rose from the dead and now He lives in heaven with God His Father. He offers us the gift of eternal life -- of living forever with Him in heaven if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by Me."

God reaches out in love to you and wants you to be His child. "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe on His name." You can choose to ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and come in to your life as your Lord and Savior.

4. If you want to accept Christ, you can ask Him to be your Savior and Lord by praying a prayer like this:

"Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins.  Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life.  I ask you in to my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior. I want to serve you always."

Have you ask Jesus to forgive you of your sin?

Asking  Jesus to save you is this most important thing you can ever do in your whole life time. He will change your life and make you over a new. He will walk with you each and every day. If you haven't ask Him why not ?  What do you have to lose, other any your sins.  Jesus is waiting for you to reach out to Him.

If you want help email the address above and some one will answer you as soon as I get your email. God Bless you.
